All standard rooms have private balconies overlooking Walker Bay. The Honeymoon Suite offers panoramic sea views through large glass windows. The Milkwood House, a separate unit, includes a fully equipped kitchen, private garden, and upstairs bedrooms with ocean views. Rooms feature heating, non-smoking, and keyless entry.

Dining Options

Complimentary breakfast includes homemade breads, seasonal local produce, and eggs. The honesty bar offers wines from the Overberg region. Guests can request platters for evening meals or an aperitif crafted by the host. No full restaurant; meals are served on the terrace or in the shared lounge.

Guests can hike the De Kelders cliffs, walk the nature trails, or join bike tours. Whale watching is possible from the deck during season. On-site activities include board games, walking tours, and an outdoor swimming pool. Full body massages are available by appointment.

Beachfront Location

Whalesong Lodge sits on Walker Bay beachfront, 5 km from Gansbaai village. Walker Bay Nature Reserve and Klipgat Cave are a 10-minute drive. Stanford Saturday Market is 15 km away. The lodge is a short drive to Hermanus and the Overberg wine region. Free parking is available.
